about

I grew up in a small village in northern Sweden. Quiet, contained, slightly out of step for me. That contrast built a perspective that looks beyond the immediate. I was drawn to tattoo culture early. Expression outside traditional frameworks. Personal, permanent, tied to identity. A degree in digital media production, spanning graphic design, photography, and human–computer interaction, taught me how systems, aesthetics, and meaning intersect. A two-year apprenticeship followed in 2017. Tattooing introduced a physical, permanent dimension to design thinking. Intuition and authorship in direct collaboration. Working between Zürich and New York has expanded my frame of reference. Identity is fluid. Tattoos act as evolving markers rather than fixed symbols. My practice sits at the intersection of design, contemporary art, and personal narrative. Not adherence to style. The ongoing process of creating something intentional, lasting, and deeply individual.
